Day 1 |
Nairobi |
Arrive in
Nairobi. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel InterContinental. |
Day 2 |
Masai Mara |
Breakfast
is served at the hotel. Morning departure from Nairobi descending into the Great Rift
Valley and driving towards Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch will be served at the
lodge/tented safari camp. Afternoon game viewing drive. While noted for large prides of lion, Masai Mara also
contains elephant, rhino, cheetah and numerous species of plains game. Meals and overnight
at the lodge/tented safari camp. |
Day 3 |
Masai Mara |
A full
day of at Masai Mara Reserve with a morning and afternoon game viewing. Meals and
overnight at the lodge. |
Day 4 |
Nakuru |
After
breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru Bird Sanctuary  - a
shallow soda lake - which has the largest concentration of Flamingo in the world. Lunch at
the lodge. Afternoon tour of the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. |
Day 5 |
Aberdare |
After
breakfast, drive to Aberdare National Park. Lunch will be served at the base hotel.
Afternoon transfer to one of the tree hotels for overnight game viewing. Dinner and
overnight stay at one of the tree hotels (Treetops, Ark or Mountain Lodge). |
Day 6 |
Samburu |
After
breakfast, depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch will be served at the lodge.  Afternoon game viewing drive. Here, one can see the
rare Grevy Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. |
Day 7 |
Samburu |
A full
day at Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. All the
"Big Five" are found here as well as some unusual animals. Meals and
overnight at the lodge. |
Day 8 |
Mt.Kenya |
In the
morning, you will depart for Mt. Kenya Safari Club located at the foot of the revered Mt.
Kenya, Africa's second highest mountain. Lunch will be served at the club. Spend the
afternoon at your leisure. Mt. Kenya Safari Club has a bird sanctuary as well as many
sporting facilities. Dinner and overnight stay at the luxurious Mt. Kenya Safari Club. |
Day 9 |
Mt.Kenya |
After
breakfast, depart the Mt. Kenya Safari Club for your drive back to Nairobi, arriving there
in the afternoon. |
